FADHC President

Deborah joined Friends of ADHC in 1998 as a Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, driven by her passion to promote physical and cognitive health and to prevent unnecessary institutionalization caused by frailty or dependency. She recognizes that many older and dependent adults, especially those without strong caregiver support, often face limited choices and are placed in institutions. Adult day services provide a much-needed community alternative.

Deborah encourages the community to support this vital Yolo County resource and the individuals and families who rely on it.

FADHC Vice President

Cass has lived in Yolo County for 33 years and was elected as Yolo County Public Guardian/Public Administrator in 1998, serving in that role for 20 years. As a court-appointed conservator for many seniors and adults with disabilities, she saw firsthand the impact of Yolo ADHC’s services and the personal difference they made in her clients’ lives.

Sylvia deeply values the care provided through this unique program, which is one of the few medically modeled adult day care centers in California.

FADHC Secretary

Dawn was the program director at Yolo Adult Day Health Center from 1996 to 2025. During her almost thirty year tenure, she emphasized Center growth and team development with an emphasis on providing not only an effective community-based model of long term care but an empowering hub of personal choice and growth for marginalized elders and disabled adults.

Recently Dawn has moved to Vashon Island Washington to be closer to her two daughters and two (soon to be three) grandchildren. When she and Anne-Marie are not working together to see the completion of the Sagewood Center, she is enjoying her favorite hobbies of hiking, kayaking, gardening and being a grandma.

FADHC Member at Large

Lorrie studied environmental design and psychology, which gave her a deep understanding of how “place” impacts health and quality of life. Her educational background has equipped her with the ability to appreciate both the efficiency and humanity of the Adult Day Health Care model. 

She continues to support Friends of Adult Day Health Care because they work hard to ensure that model remains viable. Lorrie is also inspired by the compassion and dedication shown daily by the Yolo ADHC staff toward participants.

FADHC Treasurer

Raylene Ewing has been a Woodland resident for over 25 years and values how adult day health care supports the elderly and their caregivers. She has been a board member of the Rotary Club of Woodland – Luna Vista and the Historic Train Depot of Woodland where she has provided organizational leadership, financial accountability and community awareness for over 10 years.  

Raylene’s career includes leadership in agricultural research and education. She led the construction of and managed an agricultural research station for a multinational company in Fresno County. Raylene held teaching and administrative positions in public schools after moving to Woodland. 

YADHC Director & FADHC Liason

Anne-Marie Louissaint stepped up to become the new Program Director of Yolo Adult Day Health Center in January 2025, following Dawn Myers’ retirement. Anne-Marie is a dedicated healthcare leader with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Public Health Administration. She brings over two decades of experience in senior living.

Beyond work, Anne-Marie enjoys art and reading, as well as hiking and camping in the mountains or anywhere near water.
